The job seeker visa is a type of National Visa. It allows you to come to Germany to find work. The job seeker visa can’t be extended.1 It’s valid for 6 to 18 months, depending on your situation.2 You must have a university degree or vocational training to apply for it.2
After you find a job, you can apply for a work visa or a Blue Card. If you are self-employed, you can apply for a freelance visa.
