What is the Rundfunkbeitrag?

The TV tax (Rundfunkbeitrag) is a public broadcasting fee in Germany. Every household in Germany must pay it. It costs 18.36€ per month. It’s collected by the ARD ZDF Deutschlandradio Beitragsservice.
